Binder: Nicaraguan
Filler: Nicaraguan (Esteli & Jalapa)
Profile: Full
The 601 Green Label Oscuro is the powerhouse of the renowned 601 Series: a bold, unapologetic Nicaraguan puro crafted for the seasoned smoker. Hand-rolled at La Zona Factory in Estelí, Nicaragua, this cigar delivers the ultimate expression of Espinosa’s strength, depth, and blending precision.
Wrapped in a dark, leathery Nicaraguan Habano Oscuro, the 601 Green is dense, oily, and heavy in the hand. Beneath the surface, a core of aged Nicaraguan binder and filler tobaccos from Estelí and Jalapa ignite a full-bodied experience layered with complexity and control.
From the first draw, bold waves of black pepper, espresso, and charred wood crash onto the palate, followed by dark cocoa, burnt sugar, and leather that evolve with every inch. The finish lingers long and toasty, leaving behind earthy spice and satisfying depth. This is not a cigar for the faint of heart, it’s a flavor bomb built for those who demand intensity without compromise. Available in La Punta (5½×52), the 601 Green delivers Espinosa’s signature craftsmanship across every format.
Awarded 90 points by Cigar Aficionado, the review praised its “notably spicy perfecto with a core of leather flavors and a long finish.”
