Cimarron Blanco Tequila comes from the Highlands of Jalisco, Mexico. It is made by famed master distiller Enrique Fonseca. The distillery sits in Atotonilco el Alto, and it uses 100% blue Weber agave. The tequila is bottled unaged, so you taste the agave in its purest form. It offers real quality without stretching your budget.
The agave is cooked slowly and crushed without added water. That keeps more of its natural sugar. The juice is then distilled twice. On the nose, you'll find roasted agave, ripe pineapple and a fresh, grassy note. A light earthiness hints at its highland home. When you sip it, sweet cooked agave comes first. Black pepper and a clean, mineral touch follow.
Cimarron Blanco is smooth and light, so it's easy to enjoy neat. It also makes a great base for your favorite cocktails. The finish is clean, with soft warmth and a little pepper. Try it in a classic Margarita or a Paloma. Or keep it simple and pour it over ice. Either way, you get an honest taste of highland agave in every glass.
