A lively, straight-shooting young Chianti Classico that leans into freshness and purity rather than weight. Bright ruby with a youthful, almost glimmering core. It looks as spirited as you’d expect from a just-released Sangiovese. Fresh red cherry jumps out first, followed by raspberry and a flicker of cranberry. Underneath you’ll find violet, a touch of sweet herb, and a hint of crushed stone. Everything smells crisp and clean, as though it were sketched in fine lines rather than heavy strokes. Light to medium-bodied with brisk, mouth-watering acidity. Red fruit takes centre stage—cherry, wild strawberry, and a little pomegranate. The tannins are youthful, lightly grippy, and honest about it. Savoury notes of dried thyme and a faint mineral tug help frame the fruit. The finish is fresh, straight, and pleasantly persistent.
Overall, a vibrant, uncomplicated expression of young Sangiovese that celebrates clarity and tradition. Easy to enjoy now and built for the table—especially anything involving tomatoes, olive oil, or a good conversation.
