Buchanan’s FIFA-Themed Pineapple Flavored Scotch Whisky is a vibrant, celebratory expression that blends the smooth character of Buchanan’s Scotch with bright tropical pineapple flavor. Created to mark the excitement of the FIFA World Cup, this limited-edition release combines the heritage of a historic Scotch whisky brand with a modern, fruit-forward twist. Approachable, refreshing, and designed for social occasions, it’s a playful whisky expression perfect for game-day cocktails and festive gatherings.
Origins & Craftsmanship
Buchanan’s traces its origins to 1884, when founder James Buchanan established his whisky company and quickly built a reputation for smooth blended Scotch whisky enjoyed across the world. Today the brand is produced in Scotland and is part of the Diageo portfolio, maintaining its long tradition of approachable, well-balanced blends.
The Pineapple Flavored Scotch Whisky expression builds on this heritage by combining traditional blended Scotch whisky with natural pineapple and citrus flavors, creating a lighter and more vibrant profile compared with classic Scotch expressions.
Released as part of a FIFA World Cup 2026 limited collection, the whisky celebrates the global spirit of football with commemorative packaging inspired by stadiums, street culture, and international fans.
The whisky base provides soft malt, vanilla, and caramel notes typical of Buchanan’s style, while the pineapple infusion introduces bright tropical fruit character. Bottled at approximately 35% ABV (70 proof), the spirit is intentionally crafted to be smooth, approachable, and ideal for cocktails or casual sipping over ice.
