Profile: Medium+
The 1502 Emerald is a beautifully balanced, medium-bodied cigar that showcases the art of refined blending, perfect for those who appreciate complexity without overpowering strength. Created by Enrique Sánchez Icaza, founder of Global Premium Cigars, the Emerald represents the brand’s commitment to delivering premium, box-pressed Nicaraguan cigars that stand out for their smoothness, flavor, and elegance.
Expertly handcrafted in Nicaragua at the renowned Plasencia Cigars factory, the 1502 Emerald features a velvety Nicaraguan Corojo wrapper over a carefully selected blend of aged Nicaraguan binder mixed with Nicaraguan and Mexican San Andrés filler tobaccos. This unique combination results in a medium-to-full bodied profile that’s both lively and creamy, offering layered notes of cedar, sweet cream, toasted nuts, subtle spice, and hints of floral earthiness.
True to the 1502 tradition, the Emerald is box-pressed for a comfortable mouthfeel, perfect draw, and an even burn that brings out every nuanced flavor.
